Children’s Church is a second-hour ministry at Believers Fellowship for children in grades 1–3. In this ministry, the children are taught the same passage that is preached at main service, but in an age-appropriate way with application specific to their ages. This means that the parents learn the same passage on Sunday mornings as their children, so that they can discuss what was learned and disciple their children.
Children’s Church is offered in the second hour, at the same time as the sermon in the main service (approximately 10:50am-12:15pm). Children who attend Children’s Church begin in the main service (music, Scripture reading, prayer, the offering, and announcements), and then are dismissed for Children’s Church.
Children’s Church regularly meets in the Fellowship Hall. [See the map on the next page.] If there are special events taking place in the Fellowship Hall, Children’s Church will usually move to Room 503 upstairs in Building 500. Children should be picked up from the same room where they were dropped off.
