Camp Alive: Winter Edition is a camp open to all middle and high-school-aged students. Camp Alive will begin on Friday, February 6th, and will conclude on Sunday, February 8th, at Deer Creek Camp in Medina, TX.

We are excited to announce that this year's camp theme is: Remember. The Scriptures are full of exhortations for us as Christians to remember things like who God is, what he has done for us in Christ, and how we are to live in light of these truths. Throughout this weekend, we will look to God’s Word for those reminders which will prayerfully turn our awareness of those truths into application of those truths.

Pastor at Founders Baptist Church

Matt Karns has been married to his wife, Rachel, for 22 years. They have seven children: Luke, Avery, Levi, Miley, Logan, Sam, and Emmie. Matt is currently serving at Founders Baptist Church as an elder and the Upper School Administrator at Founders Christian School, as well as serving in the College and Career Ministry. He is pursuing his Master of Divinity at TMS. Matt and his family moved to Texas in 2023 from Louisiana. Before moving to Texas, Matt served in men’s ministry for 10 years and in pastoral ministry since 2017.

The total cost of CAMP ALIVE is $205. This cost will cover lodging, meals, a T-shirt, Transportation, and activities.

To reserve your spot, you must register online.

Payment is due by January 11, 2026.
