Believers Fellowship COVID-19 Guidelines (Updated)

Dear Church Family,

As you know, the Governor’s latest Executive Order goes into effect tomorrow. The order says that “there are no COVID-19 related operating limits for businesses or other establishments; and individuals are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings over the nose and mouth wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household…”

In light of these changes, the Elders have decided to establish the following policies regarding our Sunday worship services:

  1. The current setup of the chairs will remain the same as it has been allowing a little more space between the rows.
  2. The two sections on the north side (parking lot side) of the Worship Center will be reserved for distanced seating. Those desiring to sit in this section can enter and exit through the side entrance to the Worship Center and the greeters and ushers for that section will wear masks. These sections will be dismissed first at the end of the service. The Fellowship Hall will also be available for distanced seating.
  3. The rest of the Worship Center will be open seating. Those desiring to sit in this section will enter through the main lobby. If you choose this section it will be your decision as to whether to wear a mask as you enter and in your seat.

This change will be effective this Sunday, March 14, but we will closely monitor the situation and will notify you of any changes in the future.

We also want to remind you to follow normal procedures such as staying home if you are sick. Live stream of all services will continue.

If you have children in the children’s ministry or youth ministry, you will be receiving information from those ministries regarding any changes going forward. Also, if you are in a Fellowship Group you will be hearing from the leader concerning how these changes might affect your future meetings.

We are thankful to the Lord for His provision for our church through this past year. The goal is to eventually transition back to our normal Sunday School and Adult Bible Classes but we will see how the initial changes work out and how we can open back up the rooms we need.

Please pray as we make this transition that our focus will remain on the Lord and our worship and service to Him.

In His Service,
Pastor Blakey
