Click here to give to the Madagascar Cyclone Relief Fund

Church Family,

We want to share an update from our missionary partner in Madagascar, Faly Ravoahangy, on the Cyclone Relief efforts in Madagascar.

The East Coast of Madagascar was recently severely hit by Cyclone Gezani. It is estimated that 80% of Madagascar’s main port city, Toamasina, was destroyed. At least 35 people have died and 250,000 have been affected or displaced, with massive disruptions to food supply and medical care. Faly was able to visit to survey the damage and needs, and to minister to people there, as you can see in the video and photos below:

As Faly stated in the video, there is a great opportunity in this calamity to help the people and minister to them. Some of you at Believers Fellowship were able to give toward the Madagascar 3M Cyclone Relief Fund, and the amount needed has been exceeded! Praise the Lord!

Thank you!

"THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed financially or through your prayers. We beg you, DO NOT GIVE to this fund ANYMORE, there may be other needs elsewhere because poverty in Madagascar is increasing. We’ll make sure that money is spent the way you intend to. For extra cash, we'll save it in our accounts for...

- More needs not included in the budget

- Need for another hurricane, because hurricane season isn’t over yet

Please pray for the local crews as they work on all the division and repairs. And through it all, only God will get the glory that He deserves. Please continue to pray for safety, provision, and the Lord’s mercy in the midst of great loss."
