Primary Sunday School is a ministry at Believers Fellowship for children in grades 1–5 that provides high-quality, fun, age-appropriate Bible teaching on Sunday mornings, using the Generations of Grace curriculum (generationsofgrace.com). Each lesson is accompanied by interactive activities that reinforce the lesson. The purpose is to teach the children the storyline of the Bible, with an emphasis on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Primary Sunday School is typically available every Sunday during the first service (9:00 am–10 am) and second service (11:00 am–noon). The Primary grades (grades 1–5) meet for Sunday School in the following rooms:
1st Grade– Room 301 (in Building 300)
2nd Grade– Rooms 106–7 (in Building 100)
3rd Grade– Room 102 (in Building 100)
4th/5th Grade– Room 503 (upstairs in Worship Ctr Building)
Our Sunday School and Nursery ministries re-opened on Sept 20! In order to best facilitate safety protocols, classes were shortened from the usual 1 1/2 hours to just 1 hour (9-10 am and 11-noon), with one hour between for cleaning and sanitizing. This lines up with the abbreviated worship services. For details on our COVID safety protocols, please visit our Believers Kids COVID Safety Protocols page.
Also, in order to meet the CDC social distancing guidelines, we need to limit the number of children in each classroom. We have preregistration that opens every Friday so you can register a spot for your child. You can pre-register on the Overview page. The link will go live each Friday for the following Sunday morning. If you do not pre-register, there may be drop-in spots available, but we cannot guarantee it.
